It is best to view dental benefits as an aid to you in your dental care, keeping in mind that a dental benefit plan is not a treatment plan and certain procedures may not be covered by your benefits. Policies vary widely in the scope of coverage they provide. It is important to realize there is no correlation between the treatment you may require and what your benefits will pay for.
We will do our best to try and help you understand dental benefits, accept assignment of benefits from most insurance companies and if your policy allows, submit your claim electronically. This will reduce your immediate out of pocket expenses and facilitate payment from your insurance company.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. Any remaining cost beyond this period is your responsibility.
